The Never Ending Glory of Youtube

Fuck this is awesome, ODB doing brooklyn zoo in front of a live studio audience. I would have loved to be in that audience, the awkwardness would be palpable.
Excited audience member air punching next to awkward unimpressed girl at 1:52 is a moment of cinematic glory.

Brolic 5: The Suffering

So since a few of you actually seemed to enjoy that last mix i made, i thought i'd post the latest in the series. I realise that not all of it is entirely gully and brolic, but you have to stop and have a rest here and there you know. Silly cover art, tracklist (click for the easy to read version) and link all below.

New news on the new Terra Firma album. New.

I was lucky enough to hear a bit of the new Terra Firma album on the weekend. It is very very close to completion. Of course they have been saying that for at least 2 years now, but this time it actually is. Mastering date is set. Guest appearances include Percee P (which is a killer song) and a brand new Certified Wise posse track.

Stay tuned to this area for more celebrity gossip rap information as it happens.

American Gangster Remoted

Say what you want about Jay Z remix albums - but one thing they are good for, is shining some light on producers who may have otherwise slipped by the radar for some of us. I dont often post up these remix albums, as there are just too many of them to post them all, so the fact that this one gets a mention is a testament to the talents of the producer behind it. This one is by a fellow by the name of Remote Remot, and his version won the Hip Hop DX American Gangster remix competition earlier this year. Remote Remot has a myspace page you can check out - which is HERE. He is currently working with Donny Goines so hopefully we will be hearing more from him soon.
