Grand Puba Says No To Drugs
Before Grand Puba Maxwell joined Derrek X & Lord Jammer to form Brand Nubian he was in a group called 'Masters Of Ceremony' with Dr. Who (no not the timelord) and DJ Shabazz. The earliest record I know of theirs is 'Crime' on the M-Low label that proceeded Jazzy Jays 'Strong City' label. This is the 3rd of the Masters Of Ceremony 12"s on 'Strong City' and was released in 87. After this 12" they moved to '4th and Broadway' bringing out 4 12"s from the Dynamite LP.
